TROUBLESHOOTING
The table includes some of the most common problems, their causes and remedies.
PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
• Fill the fuel tank with the correct fuel
• Clean the fuel tank
• Connect the wire to the spark plug
• Clean the spark plug
• Replace the spark plug
• Tighten the spark plug connection
• Move choke lever to normal state
• Clean the fuel lines
• Fill the fuel tank
• Consult your local distributor
• Clean or replace the air filter
• Clean the fuel tank
• Fill with the correct level of oil
• Turn off the unit and clean around the
motor
• Tighten the support plate
• Check the blades and replace them if
necessary
• Check the blades and remove any debris
• Place the unit on a flat surface
• Disconnect the spark plug wire and then
clean the shredder
• Add dry material or a mixture of different
materials
• Reduce the volume of material in the
conduit
• Check that the blades are not broken
• Check and replace the blades
• Replace or sharpen the blades
• Check that the belt is properly tensed
