7. Keep control knob pressed in for 30
seconds after lighting pilot. After 30
seconds, release control knob. If control
knob does not pop up when released,
contact a qualified service technician or
gas supplier for repairs.
Note: If pilot goes out, repeat steps 3
through 7. This heater has a safety inter-
lock system. Wait one (1) minute before
lighting pilot again.
8. To select the desired heating level, partially
press down the control knob slightly and
turn counterclockwise
downward pressure on the knob while
continuing to turn until the knob locks
at the desired setting. The main burner
should light. Set control knob to the de-
sired heating position.
Note: Both HIGH and LOW are locked
positions. You must press in the control
knob before turning it from these positions.
Shutting Off Heater
Turn control knob clockwise
OFF position.
1. Remove front panel.
2. Follow steps 2 through 5 under Lighting
Instructions, page 18.
3. With control knob pressed in, strike match.
Hold match to pilot until pilot lights.
