SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

DESCRIPTION
A magnetic float or counterweight actuates a microswitch in the unit without contact.
When the float or counterweight passes the bistable switch, the changeover contact switches its position and remains in this position until it is
passed again. The switch works with all floats and counterweights available from us.
MOUNTING
- The bistable switch BSM 502 is attached to the guide tube of a level indicator by a clamp (stainless steel or plastic)
- The valve connector must always point downwards
- Mount the valve connector and ensure its tightness by hand-tightening (approx. 4Nm) the cable gland.

Annotation
Set the magnetic switch in the correct position using a counterweight or float before
starting it up.
Notes:
- Use only BAMO floats or counterweights.
Only use the float with the "Top" mark pointing upwards.
- Do not mount or store near strong magnetic fields or ferromagnetic parts (steel
beams, struts, container parts, screws, etc.).

Please note!
The bistable switch is designed for 1mA to 3A application at 4 to 250V.
However, the switch may only be operated in one and the same type of circuit
during its entire period of use!
