• The host device must be running EMUI 10.1
or later.
• If you want to use the stylus pen with
another device, follow Method 1 again to
pair it with the other device.
• The stylus pen cannot be used during
charging.
• If the stylus pen does not work, connect the
charger to the host device, attach the stylus
pen to the charger for a battery prompt to
display, and try using the stylus pen again.
• If the stylus pen stays idle for a long time, its
power will gradually drain until it enters
battery protection mode. In this case, the
stylus pen needs to be charged for 5 to 10
minutes before it can be used again.
• Method 2:
Currently, this method applies only to the
HUAWEI MatePad Pro.
Attach the groove side of the stylus pen to the top
edge of a host device for pairing or charging.
• It is recommended that you use a Huawei
leather case and keyboard. Otherwise, the
stylus pen may not be able to pair or charge
properly.
• If the stylus pen stays idle for a long time, its
power will gradually drain until it enters
battery protection mode. In this case, the
stylus pen needs to be charged for 5 to 10
minutes before it can be used again.
Replacing the Pen Tip
• The pen tip may wear out during daily use,
especially when used on a rough protective
film. When the replacement tips run out, it is
recommended that you purchase more from
authorised Huawei channels.
• The tip could be damaged if the stylus pen
drops. Please take good care of it to prevent
this from happening.
• There are two types of replacement tips in
the packaging box. The tip with a blue
bottom is softer, while the one with a red
bottom is harder. Please select a pen tip
based on your usage habits and scenarios.
