Moisture Condensation

If the camcorder is brought directly from a cold place to a warm
place, moisture may form inside the camcorder, on the surface
of the tape, or on the lens. In this condition, the tape may stick
to the head drum and be damaged or the unit may not operate
correctly.
To prevent possible damage under these circumstances, the
camcorder has the built-in moisture sensor.
If there is moisture inside the camcorder,
"DEW( )" is displayed.If this happens,
none of the functions except cassette
ejection will work.
Open the cassette compartment and remove
the battery for at least two hours in a warm
dry room. If the DEW protection feature is
unexpectedly activated and you want to
override it:
(Please make sure that the condensation
has disappeared completely.)
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Remove the lithium battery.
3. Put the lithium battery back.
4. Re-fit the battery pack.

Si se pasa la vídeocámara directamente de un lugar frío a otro
con una temperatura más elevado, puede condensarse la
humedad en el interior de la videocámara, en la superficie de la
cinta o en las lentes. En este caso, la cinta puede adherirse al
tambor del cabezal y dañarse, o hacer que el funcionamiento no
sea correcto. Para evitar posibles daños bajo estas circunstan-
cias, la videocámara tiene integrado un sensor de humedad.
Si hay humedad en el interior de la videocámara, se mostrará
"DEW(
activará ninguna de las funciones con la
excepción de la expulsión. Abra el compar-

timento del videocasete y saque la batería
y manténgala al menos dos horas en una
habitación templada y seca.
Si se activa de forma inesperada la
protección DEW, y desea cancelarla,
haga lo siguiente:
(Asegúrese de que ha desaparecido
completamente la condensación.)
1. Extraiga la batería.
2. Saque la batería de litio.
3. Vuelva a colocar la batería de litio.
4. Vuelva a colocar la batería.
