6. Operation
Please observe the following instructions for working safely with the drum turner:

The drum turner must only be used by trained persons.

Before putting it into service, it is necessary to check the correct state and functional fitness of the drum turner
and particularly see to it that the rubber shoes inside the strap are not dirty.

The drums to be transported must be dry, oil- and grease-free.

When operating the drum turner we recommend wearing gloves and safety shoes.
Lifting
The drum must be connected positively to the drum holder (2).
Bring the drum holder (2) into the horizontal position.
Move up to the drum, the position of the holder must be inside the grooves.
Surround the drum with the clamping device and close the clamping lever.
The diameter of the drum mount can be reduced or increased by means of
the adjusting screws on the clamping lever.
Convince yourself of the tight fit of the barrel.
If you would like to turn the drum from the driver's seat take the steering chain
from the storage box and fasten it to the driver's stand.
Moving
Lift the drum with the forklift truck slightly and move it slowly.
Drums must only be moved in a vertical position and on even ground.
Emptying
For emptying, the drum the forks of the forklift truck must be raised at least high enough for the drum to rotate
freely. By pulling on the chain, the drum is slowly turned into a horizontal position and can thus be emptied. When
the emptying procedure is finished rotate the drum into the vertical position again.
Unloading
For unloading unlock the drum manually after lowering. Loosen the clamping lever.
