Ensure that the stop ring touches the front edge of the board and that the inner parts of the
template are resting directly on the work piece. Now fix the template using the clamps, tightening
firmly by hand – to tighten them correctly, forcing is unnecessary. Set drilling depth on the chuck
adaptor. Insert the chuck adaptor with the appropriate bit in the holes and drill the dowel holes
(Fig. 10).
Drill deep holes gradually so that chips can be removed. Make certain the drill rotates in the
correct direction – these are right-hand bits.
