TO TURN THE TOOL ON
Before you start the unit, make sure the trimmer is not con-
tacting any object.
•
To start the string trimmer, press the switch trigger.
•
To stop the string trimmer, release the switch trigger.
•
To use with the mower deck, attach the mower deck to
the string trimmer, and switch the trimmer on as directed
above.
CAUTION: Inspect area to be trimmed and remove any wire,
cord, or string-like objects which could become entangled in
the rotating line or spool. Be particularly careful to avoid any
wire which might be bent outwardly into the path of the tool,
such as barbs at the base of a chain link fence. If you strike
or become entangled with a foreign object, stop tool
immediately, check for damage and have any damage
repaired before further operation is attempted. Do not
operate with a broken hub or spool.
AUXILIARY HANDLE ADJUSTMENT (See Fig 6)
For maximum comfort and control, adjust
the auxiliary handle to suit your height.
Shorter users adjust handle to a lower
position (away from you) and taller users
adjust handle to an upper position
(towards you). The handle should be
adjusted so that your front arm is straight.
TELESCOPING SHAFT (See Fig 7)

The shaft can be extended or
shortened for ease of use. Unplug
the string trimmer.
•
Unscrew telescoping shaft locking
collar and slide to desired position.
•
Tighten telescoping shaft locking
collar.
OPERATING
WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with this type of product
to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction
of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury.
CAUTION: Lines coasts after turn off.
Do not use under wet conditions.
Do not use with damaged extension cord.
WARNING: Stones, pieces of metal and other objects can be
thrown out at high speed by the line. The unit and guard are
designed to reduce the danger.
WARNING: To guard against injury, observe the following:
Read instruction manual before using.
Save instruction manual.
Keep hands away from lines.
Keep hands on handles. Don't overreach.
WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Before adjusting the height of the mower deck,
ensure your string trimmer is switched off and disconnected from
the power supply.
The 3-in-1 compact mower deck offers three cutting
lengths:1.63"(41.3mm),1.75"(44.3mm),2.24" (57mm).
To adjust the height of the mower deck:
• Grasp the wheel alex and push it toward the front of the deck as
shown in figure 8.
• Then slide the wheel axle up or down within the U-shaped
groove under the deck to set the height as shown in figure 9.
Move the wheel axle up for shorter-cut grass or down for a longer
cut. Move the front wheel axle down and rear axle up for a
medium cutting height.
• Repeat for each wheel until all four wheels are adjusted to the
desired height and are fully in the upper or lower slots.

NOTE: If wheels are not located at the same height, it will result in
an uneven cut.
NOTE: It may be simpler to adjust the height of your mower deck
if the string trimmer is not attached.
