Installation of Handles:
1.
Remove the Bolts, Washers, and Wing nuts from the handle mounting plates located at the rear of the trimmer
frame. (Fig. 1)
2.
Next, slightly loosen the two plastic handle knobs to allow the top handle section to pivot freely. (Fig. 2)
3.
Pull up and back on the center bar of the handle assembly to rotate it towards the rear of the trimmer. Be careful
to avoid pinching or damaging the control cable. (Fig. 2)
4.
Now, loosely reinstall the bolts, washers, and wing nuts from step 1 through the top holes of the lower handle and
handle mounting plates at the rear of the trimmer. Do not fully tighten until you're ready to adjust the handle for
operation! (Fig. 3)
5.
Rotate the upper handle up to align it with the lower handle (Fig 4). Next, slowly pull the engine starter rope until
it will slide into the rope guide then tighten the plastic handle knobs on both sides.
6.
Now you're ready to adjust the handle for comfortable operation by selecting the appropriate hole position of the
handle mounting plates (Fig. 3), tighten the wing nuts securely.
Handles may be adjusted up and down and in and out for comfortable operation.
