• Connect the Orange wire to the illumination wire. If the radio has no illumination wire,
tape off the Orange wire.
• Connect the Blue wire to the radio's antenna "turn on" wire.
• Connect the Blue/White wire to the radio's amp "turn on" wire.
Note: The white 24-pin connector is your service harness for setting the clock. Please run this
harness to a location where it can be easily accessed by and installer or customer.
INSTALLING THE AXTO-MZ1
• Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
• Cycle the key, by turning the ignition on for 30 seconds. Then off and on again to
test the radio.
TESTING THE AXTO-MZ1
1. Turn the radio on and check balance and fader controls for proper operation.
2. Start the vehicle and check all A/C operations.
Setting the OE clock using the service harness
1. Make sure the vehicle is in the off position.
2. Plug in the OEM radio and turn on the ignition.
3. Set the time.
4. Shut off the vehicle and unplug the factory radio.
5. Tuck the service harness back in the dash.
12-pin harness AXSWC (if installing)
After the interface is initialized, plug in the AXSWC into the 12-pin harness of the AXTO-MZ1
and refer to the AXSWC instructions.
