Installation
To install the luminaire against a wall, proceed as follows:
1.
This luminaire does not have a built-in device to disconnect it
from the electric mains. Make sure to electrically isolate the
luminaire before installation or maintenance activities are
performed.
2.
Loosen the nuts on the base and pull out the plastic mounting
plate [3].
3.
Use the mounting plate to determine the location of the
mounting holes [5] on the wall. Drill the holes.
4.
Pull the mains cable through the cable gasket [7].
5.
Make sure the base screws [6] are in place in the mounting
plate, then fix the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate
screws (not incl.).
6.
Connect the mains cable to the device's power cable via the
screw terminal [4]. Make sure there is no strain on the cables;
leave sufficient slack.
Warning: if the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, his service agent, or a similar qualified person
in order to avoid any hazard.
7.
Place the base [2] back over the mounting plate and fix it with
the nuts.
Caution: make sure the power cable is not crimped.
7.
Cleaning and maintenance
• All screws should be tight and free of corrosion.
• The electric power supply cables must not show any damage.
Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
