Fitting/changing batteries

n.B.: When replacing batteries, change all the batteries in the particular unit.
Precision boring head
unscrew the battery cover (WAF 5)

Carefully raise the contact tag

Change the batteries
2× 1.55 V. e.g. V76PX or SR1154
(check correct polarity)
Carefully press the contact tag back down

When screwing down the battery cover,
check that the O-ring is seated correctly.

Display unit

• Remove clip

• Remove rubber sleeve
• unscrew the battery compartment
• Fitting/changing batteries
2× AAA 1.5 V (check correct polarity)
• Screw the battery compartment back on,
slide on the rubber sleeve and clip
adjustment key
• Place the connection side of the adjust-
ment key onto a level supporting surface
and then press the sleeve downwards.
• Remove sleeve

• Fitting/changing batteries
4× AAA 1.5 V (check correct polarity)
• Refit the sleeve, so that the markings
(arrow and dot) are in line.
