3 Applications
The amplifier PA-302 has especially been designed for
12 V or 24 V DC operation. It can be used for an-
nouncements, for PA music applications, and as an
intercom system. To activate a sound, the PA-302 is
equipped with an audio generator for siren and fog
horn.
4 Mounting
For mounting, two brackets (1) are supplied with the
unit. They can be fastened with screws to the sides of
the amplifier (shown in figures 1 and 2). If the internal
speaker is used, leave some space above the ampli-
fier for the output of the sound while mounting. For the
microphone a support (16) is supplied which accom-
modates the microphone when it is not in use.
5 Making the Connections
All connections should only be made by qualified per-
sonnel and in any case with the amplifier switched off!
1) Connect the supplied microphone to the jack
MIC (2).
2) Connect the speakers (min. impedance 4 Ω) for PA
applications to the terminal strips LSP 1 and LSP 2
(13). These speakers are also used as micro-
phones for the reply during intercom operation.
