1.10 Device sensors

The device has sensors for touch and colour.
U
Touch: The device will only emit pulses when it is in firm
contact with your skin.
U
Colour: Light-based hair removal on darker skin tones may
result in adverse effects such as burns, blisters, and skin
colour changes (hyper- or hypopigmentation). The device
has a skin colour sensor (#3) that detects the colour of your
skin automatically. The skin colour sensor (#3) checks your
skin colour at the start of, and occasionally during, each
treatment.
If the device detects that your skin tone is too dark for safe
Z
use, the ready light/skin tone warning indicator light (#7) will
blink.

1.11 Pulsing and gliding

Whether you decide to pulse or glide:
U
Avoid gaps or overlaps as you use the device. Overlaps
increase the likelihood of adverse affects.
U
Do not treat the same area of skin more than once per
treatment session.
