OPERATION
WARNING:

CHARGING THE BATTERY (FIG 2)
NOTE:
The tool can be recharged by connecting the included USB
charging cable to a USB power output, such as a cellular phone power
adaptor or laptop USB port.
•
Make sure the tool is turned off.
•
Connect the USB charging cord (6) to the charging port (5).
•
Plug the USB charging cord into a standard USB power outlet.
•
The battery power indicator (10) has three lights. While charging, the
lights will illuminate, indicating the charge level.
•
When all 3 lights are illuminated charging is complete.
•
The battery may become warm while charging. This is normal.
NOTE:
It takes approximately 2 hours to charge up a completely discharged battery.
SWITCH ACTION
Your rotary tool has a multi-function switch (4-fIG 1).
To Turn On the Tool, Press the switch once, the tool will be on its low speed (10,000 rpm). Press the switch a
second time, the tool will be on its high setting (15,000 rpm).
To Turn Off the Tool, Press the switch a third time.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
Your tool is equipped with an overload protection circuit to protect the motor and battery in the event of a stall.
When the tool is stalled, it will automatically turn itself off. If this happens, remove the tool from the work piece,
turn off the tool, wait for a few seconds, then turn it on and continue using it. When the battery is low, the tool may
shut down automatically more often. This indicates it is time to recharge the battery.
COLLETS (FIG 3)
WARNING:

Select Collet Size: This tool comes with 3 different sizes of collets: 1/8", 3/32" and 1/16" to accommodate
different shank sizes. Always use the collet which matches the accessory shaft size. Never force a larger
diameter shaft into a collet.
To Install a different
pull the old collet out. Insert the new collet. Replace the collet nut
on the shaft. See fIG 3.

INSTALLING AND REMOVING ACCESSORIES
1. Switch off the tool.
2. Depress the shaft lock firmly and rotate the shaft by hand until the lock engages, preventing further rotation of
the shaft.
3. With the shaft lock engaged, loosen the collet nut by rotating it in a counterclockwise direction.
4. Do not remove the collet nut from the threaded motor shaft, only loosen the collet nut enough to remove or
add an accessory.
5. Insert the shank of the accessory through the collet nut as far as it will go. This will help to minimize
accessory bit running out of balance.
6. With the shaft lock engaged, hand tighten the collet nut by rotating it in a clockwise direction until the shank
is held securely in the collet. Do not over tighten.
