EN – TECHNICAL USER GUIDE
Product Description:
The DOL 45R T sensor is a capacitive sensor,
which is used for controlling feed transport
systems. The sensor has one relay output with
switch function.
Fields of application:
• Start and stop of feed conveying
Mounting Guide (fig. 1+2):
• Before mounting the fitting, it is important to
"degrease" it and tighten with silicone all
over the seal face
• Use the accompanying cable binders for
mounting the sensor on the feed supply
auger. The sensor only works when mounted
on plastic tubes
• The sensor must be in contact with the
plastic tube. Check this by seeing if the edge
of the sensor flushes with the base of the
fitting
Installation Guide (fig. 3):
Connect the power supply 90 V – 250 V AC to
the blue and brown wire.
Connect the load in series with the relay
contact of the sensor.
STOP by activating the sensor: use the black
wires 1 and 3.
START by activating the sensor: use the black
wires 1 and 4.
NOTE! The internal relay is pulled when the
power supply is connected and the sensor is
not activated.

Tips for sensitivity setting:
Place the sensor correctly on the tube. The
sensitivity changes approx. 0.2 mm with each
key entry.
If the feed tube is completely empty:
1) Possibly increase the sensitivity with the
B-key to activate the sensor (mode = green
flash)
2) Reduce the sensitivity with the A-key until
the sensor is just deactivated (mode =
green)
If the feed tube is completely full:
3) Reduce the sensitivity with the A-key until
the sensor is deactivated again (mode =
green) and count the number of key entries
4) Increase the sensitivity with half the number of
key entries. Check that the sensor both
activates and deactivates by conveying and
removing feed

User's Guide (fig. 4+5):
Follow the scheme in figure 5 to set
sensitivity and time delay.
The DOL 45R T sensor is factory preset to
15 sec. delayed switch-on. The time delay
starts when the sensor is influenced. When
the delay expires, the relay switches. It
does not switch back again when the
influence stops.
