BEFORE THE FIRST USE
· Check the inner cooking plates to make sure they are clean and free of dust. Clean them
with a damp cloth.
· Use indoors only.
· If the appliance is switched on, do not leave it unattended.
· Grease both sides of the cooking plates lightly. Plug into the socket. The red lamp will light
up.
· Before you can start baking, you need to preheat the waffle appliance. With the waffle-
maker closed, this will take about 3 to 5 minutes.
· The green light will turn on indicating that the waffle-maker has reached the correct
temperature.
· When using the appliance for the first time there may be a slight smell and light smoke
from the cooking plates. This is normal.
USE
PLEASE NOTE: Do not use this appliance to cook or defrost frozen food. All food that you
prepare with this appliance must be fully defrosted.
Pour, when the green light goes on, the waffle batter into the middle of the lower plate.

Use a wooden or heatproof plastic spatula to dough to distribute the batter evenly over
the baking plates. Then use the handle to close.

The cooking time is determined by the temperature control setting. The higher the
temperature setting, the quicker the waffle will be ready.

loosen the sides. Never use metal objects, because they can damage specially coated
non-stick surface.
If you have finished baking, remove the plug from the socket.
