Operation
∙ Open right-hand cover on the lid by
turning it.
∙ Ensure that both switches are in the
Off-position.
∙ Connect the 12V plug to a 12V cigarette
lighter socket
or
insert the mains plug into a suitable wall
outlet (220-240 V~)
or
connect the USB plug to a mobile
charging unit or other USB outlet (eg
PC, TV).
∙ Set the left switch to COLD or HOT.
∙ Set the right switch to the desired power
mode ECO or MAX.
∙ The appropriate indicator light will come
on.
∙ Close the right-hand cover, ensuring that
the cable being used runs through the
guide in the cover.
∙ Place the items to be cooled into the
cool-box.
∙ When not in use, the cool-box should
always be switched off, and the cable
disconnected from its power source.
∙ Do not change directly from one
operating mode to another. Always wait
30 minutes before doing so.
Hints
Cooling
To achieve optimum cooling, the cool-box
16
should be filled with pre-chilled food and/
or beverages.
With warm or non-chilled food and
beverages, the cooling process will take
considerably longer.
Keeping warm
Using the keep-warm function, food and
beverages may be kept warm. Again,
warming up cold food and beverages will
take some considerable time.
12V connection
The appliance comes with a protective
function to guard against total discharge of
the car battery: if its voltage falls too low,
the cool-box will automatically switch off;
the indicator light goes out.
USB connection
With the appliance connected to a
powerbank of at least 10,000 mAh, the
keep-warm or cooling functions can be
extended by up to 4.5 hours.
Lid
To prevent unnecessary heat loss, open
the lid as little as possible and shut it again
as soon as you can.
Cleaning and care
∙ Before cleaning, remove the plug
from the wall socket and wait until the
appliance has completely cooled down.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the appliance with water and do
not immerse it in water.
∙ Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning
solutions.
