A ?/1 (on/standby) switch and indicator
When you press the switch with the indicator lit in
orange, the camera is turned on, and the indicator
lights in green. To turn off the camera, press the
switch again. The indicator lights in orange.
Note
Be sure to turn on/off the power with the camera
control unit connected to the camera head. If you
turn on/off the power before connecting, an error
message will be displayed, cancelling any
operation.
B
GAIN (BLUE/RED) controls
Adjust the blue or red gain when fine adjustment is
required after auto white balance adjustment or
when you manually adjust the white balance.
Turning the control clockwise sets the blue or red
gain to a positive value, up to +127. Turning it
counterclockwise sets the gain to a negative value,
down to –127.

WHITE (white balance) button and AUTO
indicator
When you press the button with the WB MODE
button set to WB-AUTO (auto white balance) (the
AUTO indicator is lit in green), the white balance is
automatically adjusted. Set the subject to be
adjusted in the AE window, then press this button.
The AUTO indicator flashes during the adjustment,
and it lights continuously when the adjustment is
completed.
D CAM GAIN (camera gain) control
Adjusts the camera gain when you set the AE
MODE button to MANUAL (the MANUAL
indicator is lit in red).
You may adjust the gain in increments of 1 dB in
the range of 0 dB to 12 dB. Turning the control
clockwise increases the gain, and turning it
counterclockwise decreases the gain.
Note
Readjustment of the white balance is recommended
when you change the gain value with the CAM
GAIN control or change the setting of
SENSITIVITY MODE in the MAIN MENU.
