Remove the mirror cap:
– Release the retaining lugs -arrows- on the mirror cap -1-
from the outer trim -2-.
– Pull the mirror cap -1- away from the mirror trim slightly in
-the direction of arrows A and B- .
Caution
Do not completely detach the mirror cap -1- because this
could damage to the electrical wire to the warning lamp for
Audi side assist.
Removing the warning lamp for Audi side assist (equip-
ment variant):
– Disconnect the electrical connector -2- for the warning lamp
for Audi side assist, working in the -direction of arrow B-.
