DESCRIPTION
The tripod is a portable anchorage point for connection to a fall arrest system ( EN
363 ).
APPLICATION
The tripod is designed to protect people working in confined spaces and can also be
used for rescue, evacuation, confined space entry/exit operations, ascent and
descent of materials...

-HOLDING: 1 pulley and 2 anchorage rings for connection to EN 363 fall arrest
systems.
-ADJUSTABLE LEGS: The telescopic construction of the legs allows the height of the
tripod to be adjusted. The legs are adjusted using the pins on each leg.
-STRAP: The base strap is necessary to maintain the position of the tripod legs and to
distribute the loads applied during the use of the device.
WARNING : The strap may cause a person near the tripod to trip.
-BAG : The carrying bag is made of nylon and is designed to protect the tripod during
transportation and storage.
TRIPOD INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION : Do not open the confined space access cover before completing the
installation of the tripod and system components.
- Place the tripod in a vertical position with the bases facing downwards.
- Position the leg bases around the work area depending on the type of work and
surface.
- Raise the tripod. Remove the leg pin from the leg, adjust to the desired height and
replace the pin. Repeat the procedure with the rest of the legs, one by one.
- Check that the system is stable and that the tripod head is level.
- Pass the base strap through the bottom of the legs and tighten it.
