Caution
• To use the reminder or high/low alarm function, the prompt tone must be set to ON.
• No alarm tone will sound if the meter is on when the alarm reminder time is up.
• If you perform a test within 15 minutes before the alarm reminder (current day only), no alarm tone will sound.
• The alarm tone can be turned off by inserting a test strip or pressing any button. The alarm tone is automatically turned off if there is no
operation for about 2 minutes.
• The high blood glucose alarm threshold can be set in the range from 4.0 to 33.3mmol/L. The hypoglycemia alarm threshold cannot be
changed. The high blood lactate alarm threshold can be set in the range from 0 to 20.0mmol/L.
• The high blood glucose threshold is preset to 6.1mmol/L, and the low threshold is preset to 3.9mmol/L. The high blood lactate thres-
hold is preset to 4.0mmol/L.
• If the user sets a high/low blood glucose alarm or a high blood lactate alarm, there will be an alert when the test result exceeds the
threshold value. For example, if the measured blood glucose value is higher than the high blood glucose alarm threshold, it will indicate
"HI".
Warnings
• The alarm function cannot replace the judgment of professional medical personnel on the clinical significance of high and low blood
glucose and high blood lactate.
• Users: Before you set your high blood glucose/blood lactate alarm, please consult your healthcare professional to help you determine
your alarm threshold.
• Health care professionals: The hypoglycemia determination level may vary from person to person. When using this meter in a profes-
sional healthcare facility, the threshold alarm can be turned off (set to OFF).
