Release the control stick to stop the trimmer head from turning. When the control stick is released, the limit
lever hitch will automatically return to the locked position.
CAUTION:
Releasing the control stick will not stop the engine.
Never press the control stick against the upper handle before unlocking the end lever.
3.4.
Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Before any cleaning, adjustment, or replacement of accessories, and also when the unit is not in use,
turn off the engine, let it cool down, and disconnect the spark plug.
Wait until the rotating parts stop.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning surfaces.
c)
After each cleaning, all parts should be thoroughly dried before the device is reused.
d)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
e)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
f)
Perform regular inspections of the unit, checking technical fitness and any damages.
g)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire brush or metal spatula) as they may damage the surface
of the material from which the appliance is made.
h)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical agents, thinners, fuel, oils, or other chemicals. It
may cause damage to the device.
i)
Lightly lubricate all moving parts of the machine at the end of the season or every 25 hours of operation.

* Clean more often in dusty conditions or the presence of airborne contaminants. Replace the air filter if it is
very dirty.
Always follow the safety rules when performing any maintenance.
Changing the speed regulated by the engine will void the engine warranty.
All adjustments should be checked at least once a season.
Periodically check all connecting parts and make sure they are tightened well.
3.4.1. Caring for the engine
Maintain the oil level.
Service the air filter every 25 hours of operation under normal conditions. Clean every few hours in very dusty
conditions. Poor engine performance and fuel flooding usually indicate that the air filter should be serviced.
