DESCALING:
• Recommended about every 50 cooking cycles.
• Use spirit vinegar or the BÉABA cleaning product for Babycook
®
• Never use a chemical descaling solution or a descaling solution for coffee machines in the tank.
1. Unplug your appliance, descaling is performed cold without the heating cycle.
2. Pour 100 ml of water and 100 ml of spirit vinegar or the Béaba® cleaning product for Babycook®
into the tank.
3. Leave to soak overnight with the lid open.
4. Empty the contents by turning the appliance upside down.
5. Rinse at least twice with clean water and empty the contents each time.
6. Reposition the lid.
7. Start a standard cooking cycle with fresh water in the tank (80 ml, about 10 mins) without food.
8. Rinse the bowl well with clean water after use.
NOTE: You may have to descale your appliance more regularly depending on the type of tap water.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Voltage/Power: Refer to the information plate beneath the appliance.
- Usage temperature: 10 to 40°C.

• Make sure that the appliance is plugged into the mains.
• Check that the bowl is locked onto the base and the lid is correctly locked.
• Check that the lid is positioned correctly.
• Check that the cooking basket (or the Rice Cooker) is positioned correctly in
the bowl.
• Check that the seal is assembled correctly on the blade (refer to the CLEANING
paragraph).
• Check the condition of the blade's seal and replace it if necessary.
• Check that the blade is correctly locked.
There is no more water in the tank:
• The initial amount of water was too low. Fill the tank again with 80 ml of water
and run another cycle.

• The appliance heats less: run one or more descaling cycles (refer to the
DESCALING paragraph).
Water is left in the tank: the cooking cycle was interrupted:
• Run a cycle again making sure that the lid and the bowl are correctly locked.
• Otherwise call the After-Sales Service.
• The steam circuit may be blocked.
• Stop the cycle immediately by turning the button to 0.
• Do not open the lid and wait until the appliance does not produce any more
®
steam and the whistling has stopped (about 10 mins).
• Open the lid of the tank and the bowl.
• Check that the hole on the bowl's lid or the tank's steam outlet is not blocked.
• If so, unblock them.
