TEMPERATURE
TABLE 7.1 – RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE FOR APPLICATIONS
2. Starting and stopping the heat gun
Before connecting the heat gun to the mains, check the following procedures:
1.
Appropriate clothing, as well as protection for the eyes, ears, hands, feet and inhalation mask should be
used according to the guidelines in the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Chapter.
2.
Visually inspect if all parts of the equipment are in perfect working condition. Replace any worn or damaged
parts before using the product.
3.
Adjust the temperature and install the accessory according to the desired application.
4.
Verify if the product voltage coincides with that of the local voltage.
5.
With the blower turned off, when placing it (Figure 7.1) on a surface between operations, keep it upright,
protecting the resistance from any wind currents that may cause thermal shock.
ATTENTION:
After checking all the steps above, turn on the tool using the following instructions:
• Make sure that the on/off switch 3 is off (position 0) and connect the plug to the power supply source;
• Turn on the heat gun by moving the on/off switch 3 to position I or II, according to the airflow speed you
require (see table 8.1);
•
Note: Some smoke may arise after turning on the product, which does not indicate a problem.
• To turn off the tool, set it to the lowest temperature to cool. Then put the on/off switch 3 to position 0,
turning off the heat gun.
Position I
350 ªC
Position II
600 ªC
