OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Adjusting the Cutting Swath
The string trimmer is factory set at 14-inch (35 cm)
cutting swath. To decrease the cutting swath from
14 to 12 inches (35 to 30 cm):
a. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
b. Use a Philips head screwdriver (not included) to
loosen and remove the two screws that secure
the line-cutting blade (M) to the guard (Fig. 8c).
c. Move the blade and align the two holes in the
blade with the other two holes in the guard
(Fig. 8d).
d. Insert the two screws and tighten them
securely.
