USE
This is an electrical resistance moisture
tester, for wood and construction
materials.
It can be widely applied in testing the
moisture content in wood, bamboo,
paper, concrete and more.
Power on/off
Make sure the batteries are installed and
short press the button to turn on the
device.
Long press the button for 1 seconds to
turn off the device.
If there is no operation for 10 minutes, the
device will power off automatically.
Material mode selection
With the power on, short press the
button to change the material mode.
Refer to the comparison table of material
modes for options. If the subject to
be measured is not in the comparison
table, Mode 3 is usually recommended,
although results may be less precise.
When measuring, the two probes of the
fork (2) should always be inserted into the
test object at the same time.
Data Lock
With the power on, short press the
button to lock the moisture content-
reading. The LCD will display [ ].

With the power on, long press the
button, to switch between °C/°F.
Backlight
With the power on, short press the
button to turn the backlight on/off.
DETERMINING THE MODE
Measure the woodsample with the 4
modes respectively and record the
readings.
Put the woodsample into an oven, using
the Drying-up method (see below) to
measure the moisture.
Compare the result with the 4 readings
you recorded previously and set the mode
that most closely matches the result
measured with the oven. If you cannot
measure the mode as described above, it
is recommended to measure at mode 3
but errors in reading may occur.
