Cutting
Using the cutting head
1.
Slide the cutting head to the end stop (The
cutting head can be slid to both ends of the
cutting rail).
2.
Position the document under the cutting rail.
3.
Use the markings on the measurement table
to align the document exactly.
Press the cutting head down and thereby fixate the
paper.
Whilst cutting, firmly hold the paper in position with
your left hand.
4.
To cut, slide the cutting head over the paper
in one movement. Ensure that your hand is not
below the rail.
Open the accessory box
• Press the lid lightly down at the arrow marking
and then pull it in the direction of the arrow to
unlatch it. Then lift the lid up by the protruding
edge.
• Reclose the lid by bringing it back into its lowered
position and then pushing it back in until it engages.
Attention!
The lid must be firmly engaged before you start a
cutting procedure.
Exchange of the cutting blades
With the three cutting head variants you can select
between straight cut, crinkle cut and perforation cut.
On the underside of the appliance there is a locking
device for securing the covering cap, located at the
end of the cutting rail.

Note:
To exchange the cutting blades the covering cap
must be released.
1.
To do this, press the locking device in and then
pull the covering cap to the rear.
2.
Slide the cutting head to the end of the cutting
rail and remove it from the rail.
3.
Now open the accessory box and exchange
the removed cutting head for its replacement.
4.
Place the new cutting head on the cutting rail
(The cutting head can be positioned on the rail
in one direction only).
5.
Bring the covering cap back into position by
the cutting rail, press the locking device in and
slide the covering cap fully back onto the cut-
ting rail.
Cold laminating
1.
Open the cold lamination foil and lay the paper
with the viewing side down on the non-adhesive
foil side (Fig. A + B).
2.
Slide the paper in until it abuts the fused end of
the foil envelope.
For this, first crease the protective paper to the
rear and then carefully pull off the pre-stamped
strip of the protective paper (Fig. B).
3.
Secure the paper on the exposed self-adhesive
edge of the foil envelope.
4.
Hold the protective paper in the folded-out
position and guide the foil envelope into the
laminator with the fused end leading (Fig. C).
5.
Turn the knob to the left and continue to hold
the protective paper firmly.
6.
Contine turning the knob until the foil envelope
has passed completely through the laminator.
