NOTE: If the settings on the rotary DIP switch are changed, the power must be switched off for 60 se-
conds and reconnected before the settings are saved.
TRIAC-CONTROLLED MOTOR
The amount of voltage that different types of voltage-regulated motors must have in order to function
optimally can vary greatly. It is therefore possible to adjust the output voltage for the connection of a
triac-controlled motor.
NOTE: When connecting the motor, it is important that the motor runs with sufficient revolutions on
level 1 to prevent it from becoming overheated. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for the
motor regarding the minimum output voltage.
NOTE: When the motor is switched on or when the level is changed, the motor will cancel out. Cancel
out means that the engine is running higher than desired on the selected level and will subsequently run
slower to meet the desired number of revolutions.
There are five different settings for the output voltage at each level, which are selected via the rotary DIP
switch according to the type of motor:
Setting 1
Setting 2
Setting 3
Setting 4
Setting 5
The measurements apply to a TX motor when connected to 230 V and 50 Hz.
