MOUNTING OTHER TOOLS
Mounting of Non-Standard
Miter Saws and Other Tools to
Boards
DO NOT MOUNT A
CAUTION
TABLE SAW ON
THIS STAND
The direction of feed on a table
saw is perpendicular to the axis of
best stability on this stand.
Aggressive feeding of sheet
materials into a table saw could
cause the stand to tip over.
Your wolfcraft Miter Saw Stand
may also be used with other bench
top tools such as chop saws,
grinders, drill presses, sanders,
joiners, scroll saws, and band
saws. See Figure 22.
Table saw use is not
recommended on this stand.

For additional tools and miter saws
with non-standard mounting holes,
plywood or other boards may be used
for mounting tools for use with stand.
Plywood must be 3/4" nominal
thickness (actual thickness is 23/32")
for use with the stand. Boards must be
3/4" actual thickness (standard 1x6, for
instance).
1. Cut plywood or boards to fit
mounting hole pattern for tool to be
used with stand. Wood must extend
1" in all directions beyond bottom
edge of tool base for proper
clamping to stand. See Figure 23.
NOTE: Cutting slots into the plywood
or boards, like those in the mounting
boards provided with stand, is not
necessary. Typical plywood and fir
boards are soft enough for the edge of
the clamp to grip without a slot.
2. Mount your tool to the plywood or
board per the instructions in
"Mounting Miter Saw."
