Getting started
4.1 Installation tips
The GigaView 911 UHD™ uses a very high wireless frequency (60GHz) to transmit the
HDMI signal wirelessly. A limitation of this high frequency is that it is not suitable for
sending a signal through walls, floors or objects.
When installing, try to create a clear line of sight between the transmitter and
receiver as much as possible and aim both front ends towards each other.
Also, do not place the receiver behind a TV, as this may disrupt the wireless
connection, making the range very short.
For the best image and audio quality, only use High Speed HDMI® certified
cables.
Please be careful when connecting your HDMI cables. These can damage easily.

Switch off all devices (TV and HDMI source) prior to starting the installation. If a device
cannot be turned off, please remove its plug from the wall socket.
1.
Connect the HDMI source (Blu-ray player, TV decoder, media center PC, etc.) to
the transmitter [2] using an HDMI cable (not included).
2.
Connect the receiver [7] to your TV or projector using an HDMI cable (not
included).
3.
If desired, use the supplied HDMI adapters. This makes it possible to tidy up the
HDMI cables to the back of the transmitter and receiver.
4.
Connect the micro USB power cable [3] to the "5V DC" jack of the transmitter and
receiver and use a free USB port on another device or the USB power adapters to
power the transmitter and receiver.
Please note! Never use the conventional power connector [1] and the micro USB
power connector [3] simultaneously. Do not place the transmitter or receiver in an
enclosed space such as a TV cabinet or equivalent. Provide adequate ventilation to
ensure that the product is functioning properly and to protect it against overheating.
