1. Make sure to place the end of the accessory hose
no more than 3 ft. (90 cm) above the bottom of the
dryer.
2. To bend the accessory hose so that it hooks over the
edge of the sink, use the supplied plastic hose guide
(B) and secure the guide to the wall with a hook or
to the tap with a piece of string. Assemble the drain
hose (A) and the hose guide (B) and fix them with the
cable tie (C).
CAUTION
Do not extend the drain hose by connecting another
hose to it. Water can leak from the connected area. If you
need more length, use a longer drain hose.
ln a standpipe or laundry tub
The laundry tub (B) or standpipe (C) must be no higher
than 35.4 in. (90 cm). Make sure the drain hose and the
standpipe are not airtight.
NOTE
D: Hose retainer / E: Tie straps
CAUTION
• Connect the hose guide (A) within 6 in. (15 cm)*
of the end of the drain hose. If the drain hose is
extended beyond the end of the hose guide, mold or
microorganisms could spread inside the dryer.
• The drain hose can be installed up to 35.4 in. (90 cm)
high, but the draining capability can be reduced at
the maximum height. Too much water remaining in
the dryer may cause malfunction.
