1. Defrosting Your Wine Cooler:
Defrost the Wine Cooler when the frost accumulated on the evaporator ( located behind of
Shelf) is about 5mm (1/5 inch) thick. Unplug the power cord. Defrosting usually takes a few
hours. After defrosting, reset the desired temperature. To defrost from the Wine Cooler and
leave the door open. Never use a knife or other metal instrument to scrape ice/frost from the
evaporator.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance:
a.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock always unplug your Wine Cooler before cleaning.
Ignoring this warning may result in death or injury.
b.
CAUTION: Before using cleaning products, always read and follow manufacturer's
instructions and warning to avoid personal injury or product damage.
c. General Cleaning FOR WINE COOLER ONLY:
• Unplug the Wine Cooler, and remove the wine and shelves.
• Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution. The solution should
be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 quart of water.
• Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution.
• Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth before cleaning the area of the controls, or
any electrical parts.
d. Wash the outside of the cooler with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and
wipe dry with a clean soft cloth.

3. Vacation Time:
a. Short vacations: Leave the Wine Cooler operating during vacations of less than three weeks.
b. Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used for more than 3 weeks, remove all items
and unplug the power cord. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold
growth, leave the door open slightly: blocking it open if necessary.
4. Moving Wine Cooler:
• Remove all bottles.
• Securely tape down all loose items (shelves) inside your appliance.
• Tape the door shut.
• Protect outside of appliance with a blanket, or similar item.
• The Wine Cooler should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat
producing appliances, and out of the direct sunlight.
