SETTING BLADE HEIGHT
See Figure 6
When shipped, the wheels on the mower are set to a low-cutting
position. Before using the mower for the first time, raise the
cutting position to the height best suited for your lawn. The
average lawn
should be between 1-1/2 in. to 2 in. during cool
months and 2 in. or higher during hot months.
To adjust the blade height:
Disconnect power supply.
To raise the blade height, press inward on the height
adjustment lever (A) and move it toward the back of the
mower. C is the highest blade setting.
To lower the blade height, press inward on the height
adjustment lever and move it toward the front of the mower.
B is the lowest blade setting.
Connect to power supply when you are ready to mow.
DANGER:
Risk of death by electrocution or electric shock or serious
personal injury if power lines or electric cords are contacted.
Never operate mower over electrical sources, cords, or wires.
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with this type of product to make you
careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is
sufficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply
with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in objects being
thrown into your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.
WARNING:
Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended
by the manufacturer of this product. The use of attachments or
accessories not recommended can result in serious personal
injury.
WARNING:
Always inspect mower for missing or damaged parts and blade
for damage, uneven, or excessive wear prior to use. Use of the
mower with damaged or missing parts can result in serious
personal injury.

OPERATION

WARNING:
Always disconnect from power supply when you are
assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not
in use. Following these instructions will prevent accidental
starting that could cause serious personal injury.

Mowing your lawn
WARNING:
To avoid accidental starting that could result in serious
personal injury, always disconnect from power supply
when moving or transporting the mower.
INSTALLING / REMOVING EXTENSION CORD
See Figure 7
Insert the female end (C)
of the extension cord (A)
into the product as
shown.
Connect the male end of
the extension cord to the
power source.
Make sure the extension
cord is secured on the
cord retainer (B) before
beginning
