1. Overview
The SAVER is an item of personal protective equipment (PPE). It is a retractable type fall
arrester with an integrated emergency rescue mechanism. If a user falls, the SAVER will
automatically stop the user's descent in a short distance whilst limiting the fall arrest force
on the user's body. The SAVER also incorporates a quick-acting retrieval mechanism for
emergency evacuation.
The SAVER can be used in conjunction with appropriate, certified anchorages and
harnesses in confined space applications.
