Making calls when the headset is connected
When the TL-HD1 headset (optional) is connected to the I
(HEADSET) jack, you can talk through the headset.
Precaution
Avoid listening your headset at so loud a volume that extended play might
affect your hearing.

Switch to another call

Switch to tone dialing

* You need to subscribe to the service from your telephone company.

(REDIAL/PAUSE)
Do this
Press (HOLD).
The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button will flash slowly.
Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) to resume the conversation.
Press (CHANNEL).
Slide the VOL switch.
Press (FLASH).
Press (FLASH) again to return to the first caller.
Press (*TONE) while using the telephone after you're
connected.
The line remains in tone dialing until disconnected.

Pick up the handset from the
base phone.

Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) to
select the line.
The corresponding line button
lights up.
You will then hear a dial tone. If
you hear an error beep, move
closer to the base phone.

Dial the phone number.

When you are done talking,
press (OFF) or replace the
handset on the base phone.
The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button
goes off.
