Charging the Battery

New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before
you can use your phone, install and charge the battery
as indicated by the following instructions. Some
batteries perform best after several full
charge/discharge cycles.
Action
1 Insert the travel
charger plug
into your phone
with the release
tab facing up.
Make sure that
both of the
plug's connector
hooks engage to lock the plug in place.
2 Plug the other end of the travel charger into the
appropriate electrical outlet.
Note: It may take up to 10 seconds for your
phone to provide a visible or audible indication
that the battery is charging.
3 When your phone indicates Charge Complete , press
the release tab and remove the travel charger.
Tip: You can safely leave the travel charger connected to
your phone after charging is complete. This will not
damage the battery.
