Overview
Thank you for your purchase of a state of the art Water
Treatment system.
Your new Certified system is equipped with premium coconut
shell Inline Granular Activated Carbon with quick connect
fittings. This system is easy to connect and can be used in
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Inline post filter, water coolers/fountains,
coffee/tea makers, refrigerators, motor homes, campers, and
other low flow applications.
Inline Granular Activated Carbon filter reduces chlorine and odor
from the water to improve taste. This system is certified for Lead
Free compliance.
WARNING
!
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after
the system.
IMPORTANT
If you are unsure about installing your WATTS water filter, contact
a WATTS representative or consult a professional plumber.

CAUTION
Discard small parts remaining after the installation.
NOTICE
Failure to install the system correctly voids the warranty.
Handle all components of the system with care. Do not drop,
drag or turn components upside down.
For units that are not cabinet mounted, be sure the floor under
the water filter system is clean, level and strong enough to support
the unit.
System Maintenance
It is important to change filters at the recommended interval
indicated in this manual. Many contaminants are not detectable
by taste. In addition, other bad tastes and odors may become
apparent over time if filters are not replaced.
When replacing any of the filter elements, pay special attention

Step 1
- Note direction of
water flow arrow on
filter.
Step 2
- Remove the end cap
plugs from the filter
and discard them.
Step 3
- Hand tighten fitting in
clock-wise direction
as required to ensure
leak free connection.
Do not over tighten
fittings.
Step 4
- Blunt cut the tube
(tube is not supplied
with the product)
square. It is essential
that the outside
diameter of tube be
free of score marks
and that burrs and
sharp edges be
removed before inserting into fitting. Now insert inlet
and outlet tubing into the quick connect fittings.
