Before starting up the garden vacuum (preparation)
• The voltage indicated on the rating-plate must correspond to the voltage of the power
source.
• We recommend that this equipment is only connected into a socket which is protected by a
circuit-breaker that would be actuated by a 30 mA residual current.
• WARNING: For your safety, it is required that the plug attached to the product is connected
with the extension cord. The coupling of the extension cord must be protected against
splash water, be made of rubber or coated with rubber. The extension cord must be used
with a cable strain relief.
• Change the working direction by simply switching the lever (5) from suction to blowing or
vice versa.
• Make sure that the suction tube is firmly and correctly attached.
• Set the length of the adjustable carrying strap (6) to the size of the person using the
equipment.
• Lay the carrying strap over your shoulder and fasten it to the garden vacuum.
• Fasten the collection bag (7) to the garden vacuum.
• Hold the garden vacuum by the corresponding handgrips using both hands.
• Protect your feet by wearing sturdy shoes or boots.
Starting up the garden vacuum for the first time
• Plug the garden vacuum into a properly earthed plug.
• Point the garden vacuum downwards and set it down on its rollers (8).
• Push the ON/OFF switch (3).
Switching off
• Release the ON/OFF switch.
• If you want to take a longer break, switch off the garden vacuum and pull the plug.
Blowing mode
• Before you start blowing, make sure that the collection bag (7) and suction tube (9) are
fitted.
• The carrying strap (6) can be individually adjusted. Set the length so that the collection bag
(7) on the left-hand side is at hip height.
• Set the mode lever (5) to blowing, and make sure it has clicked into place.
• Switch on the garden vacuum by pushing the ON/OFF switch (3).
• The airflow speed is variable. To increase the airflow speed, turn the speed control wheel (2)
clockwise.
• Releasing the ON/OFF switch (3) will switch the garden vacuum back off.
