supply. The Memory Saver is designed as a vehicle preset memory saver
only. Do not turn the vehicle on when the Memory Saver product is being
used to connect a 12V portable power supply to the vehicle.
1. Verify your 12V power supply has an available accessory port and
that its internal battery voltage is high enough (> 12.4V) to power
the vehicle while the battery is being replaced.
2. With the vehicle turned OFF and all accessories OFF, connect
the Memory Saver's DC plug to the portable power supply
accessory port. Verify that the red LED on the cable is illuminated.
This verifies that the Memory Saver is receiving power from the
portable power supply.
3. Plug the Memory Saver's OBDII plug into the vehicle's OBDII
port.
4. You may now disconnect the vehicle's battery without having
any loss of electronic presets.
