the Bosch SmartphoneHub and
the drive unit is waiting to be
switched on. To do this, perform
one of the following actions:
– Press the "Start" button in the
COBI.Bike app.
– Turn the smartphone into the
horizontal position while the
COBI.Bike app is open.
– Press the + button on the oper-
ating unit.
1/1 This indicator appears when one
eBike system
update necessary
or several eBike components re-
quire a software update.
The update can only be carried
out by an authorized Bosch eBike
dealer.
The indicator can be hidden by
pressing any button on the oper-
ating unit. The indicator appears
during every eBike system start-
up until the update has been car-
ried out. You can still continue to
use your eBike without restric-
tions. The number at the top on
the right will indicate the number
of notifications.

This can only occur as a result
of an intentional software
downgrade. The problem can
be resolved with a software up-
date. Please follow the instruc-
tions in the COBI.Bike app.
