PREPARING FOOD IN THE MICROWAVE OVEN
• Place the food to be prepared in the microwave on a plate or microwave dish and close the door.
• Set the required microwave power using the rotating knob.
• Use the lower rotating knob to set the preparation time (between 0 and 30 minutes).
• The microwave starts automatically after setting preparation time and wattage.
• Once the preparation time has been completed, a sound signal can be heard and the microwave switches off automatically.
• When the microwave is not being used, always set the timer to 0.

In order to defrost meals or meat, it would be best to use the 280W position. This position is specifically intended for
defrosting. The required time for defrosting depends on the weight of the food to be defrosted.
Only if the preparation time is less than 2 minutes, you could turn the timer knob to 5 minutes, for example, and then turn it
back to the required time.
Just before cleaning your microwave, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to
cool down fully.
Interior
Clean the interior of the appliance after each use. Use a damp cloth. For thorough cleaning, use warm water with washing-up
liquid and properly wipe the interior dry with a cloth.
Accessories
Clean loose accessories such as the rotating platform and the ring for the rotating platform with warm water and washing-up
liquid. These accessories may also be cleaned in the dishwasher. Properly dry everything before using it again.
Exterior
Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth or sponge. If necessary, you can clean the exterior of the appliance by
means of a mild washing-up liquid. Also properly clean the door and door rubber.
