• Let the appliance cool down completely before you
clean the appliance or put it away.
• Never touch the cooking plates with sharp or
abrasive items, as they damage the non-stick surface.
• This appliance is not a grill and is not intended for
preparing other foods than sandwiches.
• The baking surfaces get very hot. Touch the handles
only.
• Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant surface or
mat.
• In order to prevent heat from building up, do not put
the unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure that
there is enough space all around.
• Beware of steam coming out when you open the
baking section.
• The bread can burn, so never use the sandwich
toaster near or below curtains and other inflammable
materials!
• Do not operate the device connected to an external
timer or a separate remote control system.
USING THE SANDWITCH TOASTER FOR THE FIRST TIME
When using for the first time, wipe the surface of the plate with damp cloth and dry with clothe,
tissue etc. Then drop some cooking oil or butter on the plate. Then preheat for 5-10 minutes.
This operation is only necessary when using for the first time.
