in a way that no one can fall over the cord.
· Do not carry or move the appliance as long as it is in operation.
· Do not open the lid before the grinding process is finished and
the power plug is disconnected.
· Remove the mains plug every time after use, and also:
- if the device is not under your direct supervision
- when the lid is not in place
- in the event of malfunction whilst in operation
- every time that it is being cleaned
Do not pull on the connecting cable but on the plug itself.
· Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plug in water
or other liquids. Do not clean in the dishwasher.
· Never use the device if you discover damage, if water has
entered the housing, or if the device has fallen.
· Check the power cord for damage prior to each use. If the
power cord is damaged, it must immediately be replaced. This
may be only be arranged by the manufacturer, its customer
service or a similarly qualified and authorized specialist.
· Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the
event of a malfunction, have the appliance repaired by
qualified experts only! Contact your authorized dealer whenever
the appliance is in need of repairs.
· Use original accessories only.
Before the first use
· Read the operating instructions and safety advice carefully
first.
· Remove all packaging material.
· Clean the lid with warm water and a mild detergent.
· Wipe out the bean container with a soft cloth, slightly moistened
if necessary. Caution: The blades in the bean container are
sharp.
· Only wipe the housing with a soft cloth (slightly moistened if
necessary).
· Thoroughly dry all parts off afterwards.
· Attention: Do not use any caustic liquids or abrasive cleaning
agents.
