Ensure the eBike battery is placed on clean surfaces

only. Avoid getting dirt, e.g. sand or soil, in the charging
socket and contacts.
The PowerMore battery is only permitted for installa-

tion on eBikes that the manufacturer has designed
specifically for such batteries. Check whether your
eBike is compatible for use with the PowerMore battery.
Follow the operating instructions of the eBike manufac-
turer. If you have any questions or need further informa-
tion, contact an authorised bike dealership.
The eBike battery may only be used in the battery

holder on the eBike.
Note: An eBike may also be fitted with two eBike batteries.

Note: During installation, pay particular attention to the
markings on the battery holder and on the PowerMore bat-

Note: The PowerMore battery is only permitted for installa-
tion on the guide rails provided. The guide rails are only per-
mitted for use with the PowerMore battery and the compat-
ible bottle holder. Observe the specifications of the eBike
manufacturer.
Note: When laying the cable, follow the specifications of the
eBike manufacturer. If you have any questions or need fur-
ther information, contact an authorised bike dealership.
Testing the eBike Battery Before Using it for the
First Time
Test the eBike battery before charging it for the first time or
using it in your eBike.
To do this, press the on/off button (5) to switch the eBike
battery on. If none of the LEDs on the battery charge indic-
ator (2) lights up, the eBike battery may be damaged.
If at least one (but not all) of the LEDs on the battery charge
indicator (2) lights up, the eBike battery will need to be fully
charged before using it for the first time.
Do not charge or use eBike batteries if they are dam-

aged. Contact an authorised bicycle dealer.
Charging the eBike Battery
A Bosch eBike battery of the smart system generation

of systems must only be charged using an original
Bosch charger from the smart system generation of
systems.
Note: The eBike battery is supplied partially charged. To en-
sure full capacity of the eBike battery, fully charge the bat-
tery in the charger before using it for the first time.
