This manual contains important safety and
operating instructions for battery part num-
ber and battery chargers
and .
WARNING
Before using battery charger read all
instructions and cautionary markings
on battery charger (), battery (),
and products using battery.
An extensions cord should not be
used. Use of an extension cord could
result in risk of fire or electric shock.
Do not incinerate battery, even if it is
severely damaged or completely worn
out. Battery may explode in fire.
If supply cord is damaged it must be
replaced by manufacturer, it's service
agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
CAUTION
• Do not expose charger to rain, snow,
or frost.
• Do not place cord in area where it will
be stepped on, tripped over or other-
wise subjected to damage or stress.
• Do not operate charger with damaged
cord or plug. Replace immediately.
• Do not operate charger if it has
received a sharp blow, been dropped,
or otherwise damaged in any way.
• Do not disassemble charger.
• Charger is designed to operate on
standard household electrical power.
Do not attempt to use it on any other
voltage.
• Consecutive charging may cause
overheating. If you need to recharge
battery consecutively, wait for about
minutes to allow charger to cool.
• Do not insert foreign material into slot
for battery in charger stand.
• Do not disassemble battery.
• Do not store gun and battery assem-
bly in locations where temperature
may reach or exceed °F (40 °C).
• Do not short-circuit battery.
• Do not place charger in an area of
extreme heat or cold. It works best at
normal room temperature.

Charge the battery only with the charger
provided or optional mobile charger .
Make sure power circuit voltage is same as
that shown on the charger specifications
plate. Ensure the battery properly engages
with the charger's contacts.
The battery will become slightly warm to
the touch while charging. This is normal and
does not indicate a problem.
Battery in charger
Battery can be left connected in charger with
green LED glowing indefinitely. Charger fea-
tures an automatic tune-up mode which
equals or balances individual cells within
battery to enable it to function at peak
capacity. Batteries should be tuned-up
weekly or whenever battery no longer deliv-
ers same amount of work. To use automatic
tune-up mode, place battery in charger for a
minimum of hours.
NOTE*
Run battery down completely
and remove from tool.
NiCd, NiMH and Li-Ion bat-
teries are recyclable. Take to
any authorized repair agent or local
recycling.
