ASSEMBLY
Setting the ground sleeve in concrete
1.
Dig a hole of at least 80 x 80 cm and 80 cm deep for the foundation.
2.
For the casing, we recommend using a wooden or plastic frame or a sturdy cardboard box
of a suitable size. The side casings are removed after setting the concrete.
3.
Use commercial frost-proof concrete that is suitable for foundations. If necessary, please seek
advice from a specialist retailer.
4.
Seal the ground sleeve (J) properly and tightly at one end with strong adhesive tape to
prevent concrete from penetrating when pressing in.
5.
Insert the pole tube (A) with the straight ends in the ground sleeve (J) until the pole tube
touches the adhesive tape.
6.
Fill the casing with concrete. Immediately after this, press the ground sleeve with the inserted
pole tube into the concrete in the middle of the foundation until the sleeve is flush with the
concrete base. Compact the concrete with a rod until it encases the ground sleeve and there
are no air pockets.
7.
Now use a spirit level to ensure exact vertical alignment of the pole tube. In doing so, perform
measurements at several points around the pole. To finish, vibrate and compact the concrete
again with a rod.
8.
Let the concrete harden fully. Note the manufacturer's specifications to this end.
Assembling the flagpole
1.
Pull out the upper mast tube (A). Slide on an eyelet (H) for the lower section, fix it with a self-
tapping screw (D) in the pre-drilled hole of mast tube (A).
Attention! Do not overtighten the screws.
Slide an eyelet (H) for the upper section onto the top of the mast tube (G). Fix it with a self-
tapping screw (D) in the pre-drilled hole.
Screw the mast tube tip (G) to the mast tube (A) with the screw (E) and the threaded sleeve
(F).
2.
Attach the flag (B) to the eyelets (H) using the snap hooks (C).
3.
Insert the flagpole into the ground sleeve (J) that was previously set in concrete.
Note: Ensure that the concrete has fully hardened. Note the manufacturer's specifications to
this end.
Hoist the flag by extending the telescopic pole to the desired height and tightening it by
turning it in an anti-clockwise direction. (The height is continuously adjustable and can be
adjusted at any time.)
