Body scale Use instructions
Setting
Remove the scale from the packaging.
Turn the balance upside down carefully, and open the battery cover.
Remove the transparent film of the batteries.
Close the battery compartment cover.
Caution
Discharged batteries become dangerous for the possible loss of electrolyte fluid that is very corro-
sive. To avoid damage to the appliance caused by this possibility, replace the exhausted batteries
without delay. Remember to remove the batteries when you are not going to use the balance for a
long time.
Damages caused by battery liquid are not recognized.
Battery replacement
When the scale does not turn on or displays "loo" it means that the batteries are exhausted. Replace them with
new ones.
Carefully, turn the balance upside down, so that the bottom of the scale is accessible.
Press the battery compartment in the direction indicated by the arrow and open the cover by tapping it.
Insert the batteries into the compartment according to the correct polarity. Pay attention to the correct polarity of
the connection. Incorrect installation can damage the scale.
Close the cover and then turn the scale back on.
Operation
Remove the packing and place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
Before using the scale, remove the plastic sheet from the battery compartment to enable it.
The scale is equipped with a shock-sensitive switch. Give a slight touch on the platform to light the balance itself.
The display will show 0.0.
Get on the balance with both feet, hold them in the glass surface as much as possible and stay still for a few
seconds.
The display will automatically display the corresponding weight automatically.
If the display shows "err" it means there was a weighing error and then we need to do it again. Get off the balance
and repeat.
The scale automatically shuts off after weighing.
Weighing up to 150 kg. To avoid any damage, if the "err" message appears on the display immediately get off
from the scale as it indicates it is beyond the weighing limit.
Body weight is subject to changes during the day, so there may be weight differences.
Lightweight weight changes are usually normal.
The balance is a precise tool and is very sensitive to movement of the body. For better precision: climb on the
balance, relax your body, hold your head firm and stay still.
Note: there is a small switch near the battery compartment to switch the weight from kg to lb or st.
Cleaning the balance
The balance can be cleaned with a slightly dampened soft cloth with warm water.
Never clean with diluents, abrasive products in general; these could damage the surface of the scale.
Do not immerse the balance in water.
Protect from liquid infiltration.
Keep away the scale from preparation for hair, cosmetics or bath solutions; they can cause damage to the aes-
thetic parts and internal balance circuit.
