CONNECTION
1 - SAFETY WARNINGS
ATTENTION! To ensure the safety of people it is important to follow these instructions and
keep them for future use. Carefully read the instructions before installing and performing the work as
specified by the manufacturer; check if the product is suitable for the desired type of use. The device
must only be intended for the use for which it was expressly designed. Installation, programming,
commissioning and maintenance of the equipment must only be carried out by qualified technical
personnel, in compliance with the mandatory regulations, including those for the correct disposal
of packaging. Handle the equipment with care, especially during installation, avoiding falls, knocks,
or contact with liquids; do not position the equipment near sources of heat; the presence of metallic
structures may affect the radio range. Before servicing the equipment, always remove the batteries
from the device. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from improper or
unreasonable use. ATTENTION: the EGKTR1 radio keypad is a battery-powered electronic device
and the paired devices cannot be activated if the batteries are flat. It is therefore recommended
to provide for an appropriate alternative actuation system.

2 - INTRODUCTION TO PRODUCT
EGKTR1 is a digital keypad with capacitive touch technology. Its operating principle is similar to that of a
two-channel transmitter, and transmission occurs by keying in the user code followed by the
all learning, deletion and function paring operations with the
EGKTR1 is compatible with Key Automation control units and receivers.
NOTE - Each digital keypad has a unique serial number making it different from every other
keypad, each user code must be saved in the receiver and paired with the function that needs
to be carried out (see the radio receiver or control unit manual).
NOTE - The default (factory-set) master code for all keypads is 1 2 3 4. For safety reasons, this
code must be changed during installation.
