• When fitted with the adjustable comb (6 or 7), the appliance has 12
different hair length settings:
ADJUSTABLE COMB (6): 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 mm
ADJUSTABLE COMB (7): 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25 mm
• To set the comb (6 or 7) to the required cutting length, push the
adjustment button (8) and slide the comb into the required position.
• Press the O/I button (3) to switch the appliance on. Always switch
the appliance off when not in use.
TIPS
• Start with the adjustable comb set to the longest cutting length and
reduce the cutting length in gradual steps.
• For the best results, use the appliance against the direction of hair
growth.
• As not all hair grows in the same direction, use the appliance
upwards, downwards or sideways as needed.
• If an excessive amount of hair builds up in the teeth of the adjustable
comb (6 or 7), remove the comb from the appliance and remove the
accumulated hair from the comb with the cleaning brush (10).
• Note the cutting length setting used to achieve a particular styling
effect as reference for future use.
USING THE APPLIANCE WITH THE ADJUSTABLE COMB (6 OR
7)
If required, the appliance may be used without the adjustable comb (6
or 7) to cut hair very closely to the skin (1 mm) or to trim at the nape
of the neck and around the ears.
NOTE:
when used without the adjustable comb (6 or 7),
the appliance will cut the hair extremely closely to the scalp.
• To remove the adjustable comb (6 or 7), press the release buttons
on the sides of the appliance (5) and slide the adjustable comb (6 of
7) off the appliance.
